Why change structure

A company is a separate legal entity, so in general you are not personally responsible for the actions of the business.
Your personal assets can be better protected.
A base rate entity company pays tax at 25%. The top individual rate is 45%.
Through a trust, income can be distributed across the family group, so each adult family member can use their own $18,200 tax-free threshold.
